September 12th, 2007: Preparation for installation of the paving stones for the driveway. |

September 13th, 2007: Paving stones delivered, ready to install. |

September 30th, 2007: Driveway installation completed. This is only part of the driveway - I eventually want to build a circular drive that wraps around from the mailbox (north entrance) to the courtyard entrance to the south entrance. |

September 4th, 2007: Septic tank installation. |

September 18th, 2007: Had to install a temporary path to the front door and casita entrance in order to pass inspection for a certificate of occupancy. Eventually, this whole courtyard will be paved with stone. |

September 21st, 2007: Because of the long, narrow shape of the dining room, had a table made to allow 8-10 people to sit comfortably while still being able to walk behind those seated without having to hug the wall. The table is 3 ft. wide by 10 ft. long, made of mesquite. |

September 26th, 2007: Tile work around the fireplace. This actually isn't done yet - there is still a strip of cobalt blue tile to border the edges but it is on back order. |

September 26th, 2007: Tile work on the kitchen backsplash. Also, the hood above the stone was installed. This retractable hood was an alternative to a classic, stainless steel restaurant exhaust hood, which now that I look at it, I would rather have. I'll give this a chance and maybe change it later on if this doesn't work out. |

September 26th, 2007: Master suite closet. I couldnt get all of the closet because of the 90 degree bend. Before the electricity went on, I couldn't get a decent picture of this. |
